Pettke Testimonial
Dr. Jay Kennedy has probably treated more patients with decompression therapy, and lectured more about the subject, than anyone in the nation. He is also a walking encyclopedia when it comes to research in this area. I can honestly say that I have learned more from him, than all other decompression therapy seminars combined.
His vast experience and knowledge has led to an excellent protocol for classifying patients, and determining which treatment is the most appropriate and beneficial to the patient. His Patient Classification protocol is probably THE quickest, and most accurate, way to assess a patient. Literally, in less than 5 minutes you can easily determine:
-
If a patient is a decompression therapy candidate (has a compression syndrome).
-
What position to treat the patient in (if the patient is a candidate for decompression therapy).
-
From the patient history, which of the 5 pull patterns is most appropriate for the decompression patient.
-
If there is a motion impairment involved, and if you need to use the ATM2 device.
-
If the patient is a combination of compression syndrome and motion impairment.
-
And finally, if the patient has a core stability problem.
Since I have been using his Patient Classification protocol, I can cut through all the typical exam procedures and tests. I can get right to what is causing the patient’s pain, and know with certainty what is the quickest way to get the patient out of pain and into full spinal rehab.
Thank you Jay for developing a system that is both practical and accurate! You have saved me a lot of time, and saved a lot of my patients from prolonged pain.
Sincerely,
M. Brandon Pettke, D.C.
Cesca Testimonial
The Kennedy Decompression Technique™ gives me the confidence to effectively and efficiently determine the optimal course of action to take with my patients. The clinical picture of many of my patients has become much clearer after learning the tools and reasoning behind this technique.

Davis Testimonial
The Kennedy Decompression Technique™ is the new benchmark for the standard of care with spinal decompression and motion disorders. Dr. Kennedy has provided us a better way to understand, explain and treat patients who experience pain. This system returns to the doctor, the ability to access and choose proper protocols to attain the best outcomes. His vast experience and knowledge has led to an excellent system for classifying patients and determining which treatment is the most appropriate and beneficial to the patient. The use of the patient classification system is easy and accurate. Orthopedic and neurological tests are historically important tools, but cannot help you determine proper positioning for decompression that is appropriate for a patient who has an anterior, posterior or lateral herniation, degeneration, etc., as well as rule out a motion component or a weak core. His system does so in a concise and quick method.
Most of the decompression companies would have you believe that you just hook the patient up, push a button, walk away and this will fix it all. This is no further from the truth. First, you will determine if the patient needs decompression or whether they have a weak core, motion disorder or a combination. Knowing this will help you determine if the patient just needs rehabilitation, use of the ATM2 for the motion component, is a decompression candidate or a combination of treatments. If you don’t do this you run a higher risk of injuring or aggravating the patient’s condition. Now that you have determined if the patient is a decompression candidate, then you must know whether they need supine, prone or even lateral decompression and what appropriate pull pattern should be selected. And finally, the appropriate rehabilitation for the patients’ continued recovery.
This system is simply the most comprehensive, most well researched process ever put forward and allows you to focus on hitting the “homerun” nearly every time. You will become the “hero” to your patients because they will respond faster and have better long-term results.
Prior to the use of this classification system, I had good success. Now however I have honestly seen a near perfect success record with my patients.
Thanks to Dr. Jay Kennedy for his continuing research that has returned the decision making process back to the doctor and for developing a technique that allows us to separate ourselves and to become the true experts with respect to spinal decompression.
Sincerely,
William C. Davis, D.C., C.C.Ac., F.A.A.C.A., Dipl. A.A.C.Ac.
